The wait is over! The highly anticipated flagship model of the Swedish luxury carmaker, Volvo S90, has finally hit the Indian automobile market at a price of Rs. 53.5 lakh (pre-octroi ex-showroom, Mumbai). The sedan went up for pre-booking on October 28, 2016. The deliveries are set to commence from December, 2016. The new kid on the block will compete against the likes of Jaguar XF, BMW 5 Series and Audi A6.
This sedan being the longest in its segment measures 4,963mm in length, 1,879mm in width (2,019mm with door mirrors) along with a height of 1,443mm and 4,963mm of wheelbase. The ground clearance stands good at 152mm.
It will not be an exaggeration to say that the car looks absolutely stunning on the outside. It features high-class exterior which includes the Thor’s Hammer full LED headlights, the waterfall grille, puddle lights, side profile with chrome headlights, and the rear gets C-shaped tail lamps. The 18-inch alloy wheels and door-mounted wing mirrors add to the look.
