Mercedes-benz E200 Expression is the base model on the updated best selling luxury sedan by Mercedes-Benz India. This luxury sedan is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged in-line 4 cyl Petrol engine which also powered the outgoing model, it punches out 197PS / 194BHP power at 5500 RPM and 320NM torque from 1650 to 4000 RPM. Power is sent rear wheel only and controlled via an updated 9G Tronic Automatic Transmission. This luxury sedan has got the updated exterior body design with an all-new grill giving the low slung look, updated headlight, sleek side profile and updated rear profile featuring all-new tail light setup with sleeker overall profile. Mercedes-Benz India is manufacturing the car in India only and this entry-level model is priced at Rs 64.50 lakh ex-showroom India.

Mercedes-Benz E200 Expression comes with an updated front fascia which looks reminiscent of the upcoming new generation of Mercedes-Benz S-Class. It features an all-new grille which is wider, lower and shorter than the one found on outgoing models, it features a diamond-like dot in the background. Front bumper provides a bigger air intake for the front engine bay and also for the front brake disc. Ground clearance is better than before but the updated looks gives it a low slung yet sophisticated front end. All-new pair of LED headlight features cornering lamps and redesigned LED daytime running lamps. Side profile features a sleek profile with a smooth crease line that flows throughout the body. Mercedes-Benz E200 Expression comes with 17-inch 5-twin spoke alloy wheels painted in tremolite grey with a high sheen finish over the face, and comes wrapped in 245/45 R17 tubeless tires at each corner. Braking system comprises an steel disc rotors at each corner supported by anti-lock braking system, cornering braking control, traction control, brake assist, electronic brake force distribution and many electronic safety aids. Rear profile features an all-new boot lid design which features an power operated boot lid featuring 440-litres luggage space with power closing mechanism. Rear wrapped around OLED tail light setup is all-new and gives reminiscent to its big brother - an all-new S class. Rear bumper features a pair of reflectors on each side and chrome finished dual exhaust tips. 

Interiors features ARTICO man-made leather upholstery with vertical perforated pores in the front cabin. Instrument cluster features a dual 12.3-inch high definition display, instrument binnacle display comes with 4-different screens with updated graphics. The Entertainment screen is a new Mercedes-Benz E-Class and this is the first time Mercedes-Benz India has featured a multi-touchscreen display. That features an updated user interface controlled via handwriting recognition touchpad with multi-touch functionality. Apple CarPlay, Android, Auto, Midline Music system include 11 speakers and 225 watts maximum output comes standard. Electrically adjustable front comfort seats feature manually assisted headrest restraint, improved passive side bolstering and memory function whereas the rear cabin features more seat adjustment than the front.
