2021 Maserati Ghibli Trofeo, where “Trofeo” stands for Trophy. This is a performance oriented premium luxury car which you can drive on a daily basis if you wish to. Under the front hood lies the Ferrari sourced 3799cc twin-turbocharged V8 Petrol engine which is taken out directly from the one powered  the Ferrari Portofino but here it is turned down a little but it still packs a lot of punch because of 580Ps of peak power at rather high 6750RPM and 730NM of peak torque which spreads in a very wide RPM band of 2250 - 5250 RPM. With the rear driven wheels and power is controlled via 8-Speed ZF Automatic transmission, this luxury sedan is fast. 0-100kmph can be achieved in as little as 4.3sec and despite weighing around 2tonnes it can top out at 326kmph. This performance oriented premium luxury sedan is coming via CBU route in the country hence Maserati India has priced it a little over Rs 1.93 cr ex-showroom India before options.

2021 Maserati Ghibli Trofeo is a performance oriented premium luxury sedan that comes loaded with many options which on regular variants of Maserati Ghibli are kept as optional extras. Like, the beautiful pair of full adaptive LED headlights with auto high beam assist along with LED daytime running lamps came standard. The redesigned rectangular Maserati Grille came with dark chrome finish on vertical slats inside the grill, the grill surround is also finished in dark chrome element. Front bumper has been redesigned completely to let as much air as possible in the front engine bay to not only supply air for combustion but to cool down the enormous heat produced by this Ferrari sourced V8 engine. Side profile features wider front and rear wheel arches to house massive performance tires at front an at the rear to cope with the increased power and torque when compared to regular powertrains. With the massive performance tires comes the newly introduced 21-inch Orione design alloy wheels at front and at the back which is unique to the “Trofeo” models. Front fender features three rectangular vents which has become a style symbol for Maserati cars. Side profile features the sharp creases across the entire length that defines the fine Italian design language. Rear profile features the tinted pair of LED tail lights with LED fog lamps integrated into it. Power operated tailgate can be accessed automatically, it gives access to house big luggage bags and provides a total of 500 litres of luggage space. Rear bumper has been given a revamp as well and it now neatly houses the rear parking sensors and the quad tail pipes comes courtesy of a sports exhaust system which comes with active values that can be accessed through a button situated in the centre console. 

Interiors in this 2021 Maserati Ghibli Trofeo are covered in Full Grain Pieno Fiore Natural Leather upholstery with fabric material for the headliner which can be upgraded to alcantara material as an optional extras. Front cabin features 12-way electrically adjustable Sports seats with memory function for the driver, fixed headrest restraint, added support around the sides bolster, 4-Way lumbar support for both the occupants. As an optional extra these front seats can also be equipped with ventilated seats where heard seats came as standard. Driver side zone comprises an analog dials for speedometer and tachometer complimented by a 7-inch TFT LCD MID at the centre with chrome highlighting around the edges. Multifunctional leather wrap Sports Steering wheel came as standard with a pair of aluminium paddle shifters, this steering wheel is an electrically assisted unit that weighs automatically as vehicle speed rises. Electrical adjustment for reach and rake came standard where heated steering wheel and head up display can be equipped as part of optional extras. 2-Zone Automatic Climate Control, Radica open pore wood interior trim, leather door cart, auto dimming IRVM, electrically adjustable ORVM with heating and auto dimming functionality, Maserati Clock, 10.1-inch high definition touchscreen display with Maserati Intelligent Assistance, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, GPS Navigation with 3D maps, Harman/Kardon Premium Sound System with 900 Watts maximum output that can be played through 10 speakers, 7-Airbags, ABS, EBD, TC, TPMS, Hill  hold assist, ICE driving modes, panoramic sunroof, front and rear parking sensors, reversing camera with adaptive guidance, ISOFIX child seat mountings at rear, keyless entry/exit, keyless start/stop, skyhook suspension with adaptive damping controls. Ventilated disc brakes setup at all corners all come as a part of the standard equipment list.
