2021 Jaguar I-Pace EV400 AWD SE is the middle variant in the Jaguar I-Pace line-up of luxury electric SUVs in India. Jaguar India is using a 90kWh battery pack under the floor of the vehicle which makes for an optimum weight balance and resulted in improved handling and decreased body roll around the corners. Two AC synchronous electric motors have been used - one on each axle making it an all-weather electric premium SUV. These battery packs generate 400PS / 395BHP of maximum power and 696Nm of torque at Zero RPM. The power and performance figures are pretty decent for a daily-to-day luxury SUV. The performance figures are not quite far-off, reaching 0-100kmph in 4.8sec with top speed of 200kmph. Power is put down through all-wheel drive and single speed automatic transmission. Jaguar India claims a 470kms range on single charge tested as per the new WLTP rules and regulations. Jaguar India has priced this mid-level variant as Rs 108.15 cr ex-showroom India.

2021 Jaguar I-Pace EV400 AWD SE is the middle variant available in India. It comes loaded with a standard equipment list that includes a pair of Premium LED headlight setup with auto high beam assist and U-Shaped LED daytime running lamps with power washer headlights where as Matrix full LED headlight setup with auto high beam assist, active cornering light and U-Shaped LED daytime running lamps can be equipped as apart of optional extras. Front bumper is redesigned with redesigned opening for front air intake and highlighted in gloss black element over the air intake section and at the central section of the front bumper. Side profile features a pair of 19-inch gloss black finished 5-spoke style 5055 alloy wheels as standard which can be upgraded to 20-inch diamond cut alloy wheels or the much bigger 21-inch split colour finished alloy wheels with diamond cut design face. Side profile is sleek and clean without uninterrupted door handles as the 2021 Jaguar I-Pace EV400 has been introduced with flush door handles as standard which embeds itself in the body when the car is locked and when it unlocks door handles came outside automatically. Soft-close door closing mechanism is standard whereas Bright chrome finished exterior package or more sporty carbon fibre exterior package can be equipped as a part of optional extras. As standard Roof comes finished in body colour with introduction of Panoramic Glass Roof whereas the panoramic electric sunroof and contrast black roof can be equipped as a part of optional extras. Rear fixed spoiler is introduced as a part of standard equipment list whereas it can be painted black shade or can be made of carbon fibre as an optional extras. Rear profile features a pair of longer and slimmer LED tail light setup taken directly from Jaguar India’s flagship sports car Jaguar F-Type. Redesigned rear bumper gives a much more bold profile when seeing it in-line with sculpted power tailgate. 

Interiors are covered in Grained Premium leather upholstery with light oyster morizine material as headliner. 12-way Electrically adjustable Comfort seats with 4-way lumbar support, manually adjustable headrest restraint and memory seating for both the occupants came as a standard fitment where 16-way Electrically adjustable comfort seat with heating and ventilation and Electrically adjustable comfort seat can be equipped a part of optional extras. 2-Zone Automatic climate Control system is standard whereas 4-zone automatic climate control system is kept as an optional. Wireless charging pad, ambient lighting system, auto dimming IRVM, Meridian Surround Sound System, Panoramic Electric Sunroof, Carbon fibre interior package, illuminated stainless steel side sill all been kept to be fitted by paying extras whereas panoramic glass roof, 10-inch high definition PIVI Pro touchscreen unit with 10 speaker Meridian Sound System, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, GPS Navigation system with 3D maps, Gloss Charcoal Ash Wood Veneer, front armrest with storage, 12.3-inch Diver Interactive Display, driving mode, electrically assisted leather wrapped multifunctional steering wheel with electrically adjustable for reach and rake, auto dimming IRVM, Electrically adjustable ORVM with heated and memory function all came as a part of standard equipment list.
