Good news for all the car fanatics! The wait is over! Luxury sports car manufacturer launched the Limited Edition Lamborghini Huracan Avio in India yesterday. The limited edition supercar, which was a tribute to the aeronautics and aviation finally made its mark in the country. It was only this year that Huracan Avio was revealed at the Geneva Motor Show. Along, with this car, Lamborghini also disclosed Centenario at the show.

The car is priced at 3.71 Crore (ex-showroom Delhi) which is about Rs. 30 Lacs more than the original Huracan. But for those who are already in love with the car, the money does not really matter, does it?

The car is supposed to have a limited production of just about 250 units globally to maintain its exclusive status. It’s amusing that the Indian customers get the chance be one of the exclusive 250 to-be-owners of this edition as Lamborghini provides them with a 5-day window to make their bookings of this car.

Lamborghini Huracan Avio takes its inspiration from fighter jets, and thus it owes its design as well as technology to the same. So, to all those who had been waiting for its launch, here is your chance to book yourself one. For those of you who do not intend to buy one and but are still fascinated by the Italian Beauty.

Here are a few things that we can tell you about the car:

The car provides with an option of colours one can choose from - Verde Turbine, Grigio Nibbio, Blu Grifo, Grigio Vulcano and Grigio Falco. What’s fascinating is that the coats-of-arms representing courses at the Italian Air Force Academy use the same name colours as used by Lamborghini for this model.

The doors of the car display the L63 logo (L standing for Lamborghini and 63 denoted the foundation year of Lamborghini)

A tricolored cockade, often used in the aeronautics which symbolises distinguished nationality is also used between the L63 logo, which again shows resemblance to the aeronautical industry.The design also consists of white and grey details which are painted on the roof and the bonnet of the car. This design distinguishes it from its other siblings.

The interiors of the car are absolutely gorgeous. It comes with super comfortable black leather seats which also display the L63 logo. The supercar also boasts of AD Personam program functionality which allows for a customised colour and trim for the interiors. Other specialities include a lifting system, a GPS, and a cruise control amongst other features.

We bet you are dying to know about the engine now. Well, the engine is the same as Huracan LP610-4 Coupe as well as Spyder which means 5.2-litre V10 engine. The maximum speed for the car is around 325 km/hour. In layman terms, it means is that the car is capable of going from a standstill to 100 km/h in a just 3.2 seconds and achieve a top speed of 325 km/h.
