Maybe you don't believe to your eyes but as of now the news seems to be true! Ferrari GTC4Lusso, the replacement to the grand tourer Ferrari FF, is finally making its grand entry in the car market of India in 2017. With an expected price of Rs. 5 crore, this 2+2 seater royal chariot, which is already dominating the international markets, will cruise the Indian roads like a master, thanks to the Ferrari's new 12-cylinder powertrain that is designed to make every journey a completely different experience. The supercar made its first appearance to the world on the 8th of February, 2016, at the Geneva Motor Show.
The latest model from the Italian carmaker has made use of the improvised version the company's patented 4-wheel drive system that was first introduced on the Ferrari FF. Unlike its predecessor, GTC4Lusso comes with a 3-door shooting brake alongside 4-wheel drive that is coupled with 4-wheel steering system to provide terrific sporty performance even when the conditions are very low grip.
News filtering in also suggests that it will be a front wheel drive, though there is no information regarding the engine configuration and transmission setup of this compact sedan. But seeing other BMW models, we believe the engine that will propel this sexy beast is likely to feature a turbocharger to squeeze more juice out of this motor, thereby giving riders a mind blowing performance.
The 6.3-litre V12 motor is front-mounted that churns out a maximum power of 690PS @8,000rpm along with a peak torque of 697Nm @5,750rpm and channelizes power to all the four wheels. The car can accelerate to 100kmph from a standstill in mere 3.4 seconds and can attain a top speed of 335kmph. What's more interesting is the fact that GTC4Lusso comes with Ferrari's 4RM-S (4-wheel steering) which has been borrowed from the F12tdf.
The design of the Ferrari FF have been finely tuned by the designers at Maranello to give birth to the GTC4Lusso where the design ensembles a typical Ferrari. The balanced silhouette, the headlamps inspired from 488GTB and the fins on the front fender are all eye-catchers, where leading the queue is the rear part of the supercar, which accommodates the trademark twin-pod taillights (a comeback again). The tail lamps are synced well with sharply combed rear windscreen and the gigantic quad exhausts.
Leather has been used in abundance in the interior along with brushed aluminium and a huge touchscreen of 10.25 inches dominating the center console of the dashboard. The grand tourer can very comfortable accommodate 4 adults at a time without any space crunch.
Ferrari GTC4Lusso symbolizes power with sophistication and sportiness with luxury to make your journey comfortable on challenging terrains and twisty routes. To make the journey more comfortable and luxurious, close attention have been given to every minute details, especially in the innovative Dual Cockpit design that has been completely refurbished with a more compact steering wheel, refreshed navigation system along with entertainment system.
Mastered to cruise any terrain, the all new Ferrari GTC4Lusso with its sporty soul and ferocious appearance will soon be seen on the Indian roads. So, let's cross our finger and pray for its early availability!
