Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid India

Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid packs two engines, one is a 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 punches out 340PS / 335Bhp power at 5300 RPM and 450NM torque from 1340 to 5300 RPM, other is the electric engine which is 14.1kwh battery pack producing 136Ps / 134bhp power and 400Nm torque. Both the engines combined to produce 462PS / 455BHP power and 700Nm torque going to all-four wheels via 8-speed Tiptronic S transmission which makes for a 0-100kmph acceleration run in 5.0sec straight and flat out it will do a 253kmph top speed. These electric batteries can make this luxury SUV to drive in fully electric mode for good 50kms and it is driven sensibly at cruising speeds Porsche India claims the maximum fuel efficiency of 32.2kmpl. Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid comes with an acid green highlighting all over the SUV and it is the middle variant available in Porsche Cayenne range of luxury SUV in India and first ever hybrid model made available with the third generation of Porsche Cayenne in India. Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid comes with a pair of automatic LED headlights with 4-dot LED daytime running lamps as standard. Front bumper has been redesigned to give three angular sections separated to provide cool air to the front engine bay and side air intake provides air to the front braking system; a pair of LED fog lamp strips is standard. Front lip has been given a faux skid like treatment to give better approach angle compared to the outgoing model. Side profile features an “e-hybrid” logo in acid green accent situated on either side of the front fender. 19-inch lightweight silver alloy wheels come standard with mixed profile tire sections, measuring at 255/55 R19 tires at front and 275/50 R19 tires at front. Porsche has updated the braking system as well compared to the base Porsche Cayenne, measuring at 360mm ventilated steel disc rotors with 6-piston calipers at front and 358mm ventilated steel disc rotors with 4-piston calipers at rear. Fixed side step board and roof rails can be equipped at an additional cost. Rear profile features a fixed roof mounted spoiler with power operated tailgate which gives access to 645 litres down from 770-litres luggage space available in standard base petrol Porsche Cayenne, that’s because the 14.1kWh battery packs are stored in the boot. Tailgate can also be closed with a touch of a button. Rear profile features a Cayenne e-hybrid monogram in acid green accent colour. Lower bumper integrates the rear parking sensors neatly and dual chrome finished circular exhaust tips on each side. 

Interior is as luxurious as any other Porsche model with Premium leather being used as interior upholstery with premium fabric material is used as headliner. Driver instrument binnacle comprises a big analog tachometer with a dual 7-inch high definition TFT LCD display which gives iconic 5-circular layout to the dashboard. Multifunctional sports steering wheel comes standard with manual adjustment for reach and rake, steering wheel mounted pair of paddle shifters are used to take manual control of 8-speed tiptronic s automatic transmission. 10.9-inch high definition touchscreen display comes paired with a hi-fi loudspeaker system capable of producing at 150 watts maximum output, Apple CarPlay, GPS Navigation system, 8-way electric driver seat, 6-way manual co-driver seat comes as standard.
