2021 Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S 4matic+ Coupe is the flagship performance SUV launched by Mercedes-Benz India in August 2021. It sits on the top of the range of luxury cars in India. This luxury and performance suv came as a completely built-up unit from Germany hence it commands a hefty premium over the locally assembled AMG luxury cars in India. Under the front bonnet, it is powered by a 4.0-litre bi-turbocharged V8 petrol power plant which powers almost all of the AMG models. In this model, it came in the most powerful avatar, ever to be placed inside the SUV bodystyle. This engine is producing 612PS / 603BHP max power at 6500 rpm and 850NM max torque from 2500 to 4500 rpm. Power is sent to all four wheels via an intelligent 4matic+  all-wheel drive system which is controlled by a rear electronic limited slip-differential. The AMG Speedshift 9G Tronic automatic transmission can send the power in the most brutal way to send-off this 2.2-tonnes of suv to 100kmph in 3.8sec from a standstill and it will continue to accelerate until the 280kmph unrestricted top speed is achieved. This new performance suv is the most powerful suv available in Mercedes-AMG lineup globally. Mercedes-Benz India is very confident with the launch of this performance suv which will directly compete with the BMW X6 M Competition-globally,  which is a coupe version of BMW X5 M Competition. In India, this Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S 4matic+ Coupe is launched  at  the price tag of Rs 2.07 cr ex-showroom India.

2021 Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S 4matic+ Coupe is equipped with the following features list; At front it has got the familiar panamericana grille which  gives this car a familiar face just like the other flagship AMG models. It has got a pair of multibeam LED headlights with auto high beam assistance and LED daytime running lamps. Front bumper is redesigned to add aggressiveness also it made it functional through the redesigned air vents to let cool air inside the front engine bay which is needed for a massive 4.0-litre turbo V8 engine. Side profile is very stylish, and the defining characteristics are sloping roofline and redesigned 22-inch alloy wheels which come shod in mixed tire profile. Braking performance taken care of by 400mm ventilated iron disc brake setup at front with 6-piston caliper and 370mm ventilated disc brakes are doing the duties in the rear. This brake setup can also be upgraded with the AMG Carbon Ceramic Braking System as additional extras. Outside rear view mirrors are electrically adjustable and retractable, and come with carbon fibre mirror cap as standard. Frameless doors, soft-close door mechanism, illuminated fixed side step board, keyless entry/exit all come as a part of standard equipment list. Rear profile features a wrapped around LED tail light setup with integrated LED turn  indicator and fog lamps as standard. Lower bumper is redesigned with quad exhaust tips which reminds everyone that this luxury suv is powered by a massive V8 engine.  Wrapped around the bootlid is electronically operated and provides access to 655-litres of boot space which makes it a very practical performance suv. 

Interiors are decorated in AMG Nappa leather upholstery in dual colour. Front seat are a pair of 16-way electrically adjustable AMG Sports Seats which feature active side bolstering, powered headrest restraint, memory function, heated, ventilated and massaging seats as standard. On the other hand, the rear cabin features a conventional bench seating layout with foldable armrest with cupholders, manually adjustable headrest restraint, electrically reclining outer seats. Front cabin features an all digital cockpit for driver, that  includes 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster that features multiple displays which can be toggled in conjunction with AMG drive select. Steering wheel is an AMG Performance unit with AMG inspired toggles, it is an electrically assisted unit which comes with the pair of  aluminium paddle shifters, head-up display and it can be adjusted electronically of reach and rake. Entertainment zone consists of a 12.3-inch high definition touchscreen unit which comes paired with Burmester high-end 3 surround system, capable of producing a maximum output of 1590 watts through 26 speakers. Wireless integration Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Navigation system with 3D maps, bluetooth connectivity for wireless music playback comes standard which can also be controlled via touchpad situated in the centre console. panoramic Sunroof, temperature controlled cup holders at front, leather wrapped front armrest with input ports, wireless charging pad, illuminate AMG door sill, Dinamica microfibre headliner, Ambient lighting package, auto dimming inside and outside rear  view mirror, carbon fibre interior inlays, 9-airbags, anti lock braking system, electronic brakeforce distribution, traction control system, tire pressure monitoring system, radar based cruise control, brake assist, hill hold assist, blind spot monitoring, front and rear parking sensors, high definition reversing camera with 3D top view, remote  central locking, AMG ride control, Adaptive air suspension all comes as a part of standard equipment list.
