Lexus NX 300h Exquisite India

Lexus NX 300h Exquisite is a hybrid crossover by Lexus India. This is infact is the brand’s entry-level luxury crossover which is powered by a 2.5-litre Naturally Aspirated In-Line 4-cyl Petrol engine which is producing 155PS / 153BHP power at 5700 RPM and 210Nm torque from 4200 RPM, which send power to rear wheels only. This Petrol engine works in conjunction with two electric motors, situated at each axle - Front motor is producing 139BHP power and 270Nm torque and rear motor is producing 66BHP power and 139Nm torque that makes it an all-wheel drive crossover. This hybrid powertrain is combined to produce 197PS / 194BHP power which is mated to a 6-Step E-CVT Automatic Transmission which accelerates this luxury crossover from 0-100kmph in 9.2sec and flat out it will do an electronically limited top speed of 180kmph. Lexus India has priced this entry-level variant as Rs 58.20 Lakh ex-showroom India.

Lexus NX 300h Exquisite comes with a pair of LED headlights with auto levelling system and LED L-Shape daytime running lamp as standard and LED fog lamps are given a miss in this entry-level luxury crossover. Front grille is very striking with L-Shaped grille embossed with vertically blacked out slats that not only gives a sporty appeal but it serves as an air streamer for the front engine bay. Front bumper has a lower profile with a bigger blacked out side air intake section which is not functional but the head section is decorated with chrome elements. Side profile is very aggressive with many sharp contours separating the different sections like the sharp contours starts from the front fender flows over the length just below the window line and ends sharply right before the tail light section starts - is the waistline. Side window profile is big, wide and features sharp eyebrows which end over the rear quarter profile which is garnished by chrome elements. Electrically operated outside rear view mirror has an integrated indicator and finished in body colour. Rear profile features a 3D design LED tail light which is all-new for this generation of Lexus NX 300h. Power operated tailgate gets the chrome strip at the centre and comes with a power boot lid closure mechanism as well. The 475-litres luggage space is big and wide and can house 4 full size luggage bags with a space saver wheel and tire. Rear bumper features a blacked out lower section which houses the rear parking sensors adds to the aggressive rear end profile. 

Interior is all decorated in a premium leather upholstery with suede cloth-like headliner material. Front cabin looks very busy with loads of physical buttons, laid around in a very Japanese way. Driver zone consist of analog dials with a multifunctional TFT LCD display that provides all the driver centric information. Multifunctional steering wheel is an electrically assisted unit and comes with a pair of paddle shifters which lets you take manual controls over CVT Automatic transmission. This steering wheel can be adjusted electrically for reach and rake. an 8-way electrically adjustable pair of front comfort seats are there with manual headrest restraint and 3 preset memory function.
