Bugatti is a French automobile manufacturer founded in 1909 by Ettore Bugatti. It is headquartered in Molshein, France. Ettore Bugatti died in 1947 and his son Jean Bugatti died in 1939 leaving no successor for the company. The company’s last model was released in 1950 as it was facing financial difficulties. An Italian entrepreneur bought the brand in 1987 and reviving it. Finally, in 1988 Volkswagen group bought Bugatti’s rights and made the brand their subsidiary. Bugatti developed their first concept car in 1988 - EB118, a two-door coupe. The next concept car was the EB218 where EB118 is its two-door variant. The brand made its first regular sports car in 2005 – Bugatti Veyron 16.4. Later, they developed the successor to the Veyron –Bugatti Chiron, a two-seater sports car.
